        Please help

        Posted in quiltbugg8972 on Jan 20, 2008

I'm not the kind of person who asks for much, and especially not money.  I'm usually the one fundraising to help out others.  But now I find myself in a real dilemma.  If you know anything about the state of Michigan, we've been in a one state recession for over a year now.  In April of 2006 I lost my job.  My husband has not worked since 2004 and is legally disabled.  While he gets disability, it's not much.  His medications alone cost almost $200.00 a month.  And last September he was hospitalized for 11 days.  We have over $20,000 in debts I am trying to pay.  I finally found a part time job, but it doesn't even cover my housing & utilities. More often than not, we have to scrounge bottles & cans in order to be able to buy food.  I live in a single wide, 30-year old mobile home.  I was fortunate enough to get the county where I live to provide new doors for me last year but now there's a huge split in my kitchen floor.  Of course there's no insurance on the home or my truck.  I pray every time I drive back & forth to work that nothing happens.  If anyone can find it in their heart to make a contribution, I would be forever grateful.  And just as soon as I am back on my feet, I will pay it forward and monitor this site to see who I can help.  I do have a paypal account and you can email me at quiltbugg8972@yahoo.com. Thank you for listening and for your kindness.  God Bless!
